9 verticals

Crypto acceptance looks different by vertical, and the difference is rarely the payment itself. What changes is which providers will underwrite you, whether payouts matter as much as acceptance, and how much friction a customer will tolerate before abandoning.

What changes between verticals?
Underwriting, mostly. The payment itself is identical whether you sell software or run a casino, and the difference is which providers will take you and on what terms. Each card in the catalogue lists the verticals its provider names publicly, which is weaker than an underwriting decision and stronger than a guess.
The second difference is direction. Businesses that pay people out as well as taking money in need to weigh mass payout capability at least as heavily as acceptance, and that reverses the usual shortlist. Merchant services covers the contractual side of the same question.
