Licence against percentage#

MyCryptoCheckout sells a licence: $79 a year per site, $199 for life, or a free tier limited to a few sales a month, with no fee on any payment. GoUrl charges 1.5% per payment and no monthly fee. For a shop doing more than about $5,000 a year in crypto the licence is cheaper, and the gap widens with every sale.

For a shop doing a handful of crypto sales a year the free tier on one side and the pay-as-you-go percentage on the other both cost close to nothing, and the decision is about assets rather than price.

Which assets your customers actually hold#

MyCryptoCheckout lists more than a hundred assets across Bitcoin, Ethereum, BNB Chain, Polygon, Litecoin and Dogecoin, which reaches stablecoins on the chains where they live. GoUrl names fourteen assets, almost all older proof-of-work coins, with no stablecoin, no Ethereum and no Lightning.

In 2026 that gap is close to decisive. A customer who wants to pay in USDT can do so on one side and cannot on the other, and the stablecoin shortlist explains why that is where merchant volume sits.

Who detects the payment#

Both are non-custodial and neither runs a gateway in the usual sense. MyCryptoCheckout's plugin watches public chain data for a transfer of the expected amount. GoUrl's payment box forwards through its own infrastructure to the merchant's addresses and reports the result.

Verification and jurisdiction#

Neither requires merchant verification, and the cards record that as a stated policy on both sides. GoUrl names Dominica as its jurisdiction; MyCryptoCheckout does not state one. For a merchant who has to explain a provider to a bank, neither card helps much and the GoUrl card at least names a place.

Both are products for merchants who already hold crypto and do not want a third party. The absence of verification is a consequence of that design rather than a feature aimed at anyone.

Integration surface#

MyCryptoCheckout supports WooCommerce and Easy Digital Downloads. GoUrl supports WooCommerce and publishes an API with libraries in ten languages, which makes it the more flexible of the two for a developer outside WordPress.

Inside WordPress the two are equivalent to install. Outside it only GoUrl offers a path, and it is an integration project rather than a plugin.

What neither offers#

No fiat, no conversion, no hosted checkout for other platforms, no mass payouts and no support contract beyond the developer's own channels. MyCryptoCheckout states most of those absences; GoUrl leaves several undisclosed. The cards score support at the bottom of the index for both, and that is an accurate description of a plugin rather than a criticism.

A merchant who needs any of those is in the wrong category and should read the catalogue instead.

Where this pair lands#

MyCryptoCheckout for almost any WordPress shop that wants crypto into its own wallet in 2026, because the assets are the ones customers hold and the licence is cheaper than a percentage at any real volume. GoUrl for a merchant whose customers pay in the older coins it supports, or who needs its API outside WordPress.

Both keep you in control of the funds. Only one keeps you in reach of the stablecoin payer.
