The network decides whether the payment happens#
Tether exists on several chains and they are not interchangeable. The transfer cost differs by orders of magnitude between them, your customer pays it, and they see it before deciding whether to complete.
Tron carries most consumer volume for exactly that reason. A provider supporting Tether without supporting the network your customers use is supporting a product they will decline, which is why this list orders on published network support rather than on the asset alone.
The wrong-network send#
A customer holding Tether on one chain paying an invoice expecting it on another will sometimes send anyway, because both appear as USDT in a wallet. The funds then exist on a chain your provider is not watching.
Recovery ranges from routine to impossible depending on provider and chain pair, and few document it. Ask before integrating, write the support answer down, and show the network prominently at checkout rather than as a dropdown default. The network guide covers all three.
What to confirm beyond the list#
That the specific token on the specific chain is enabled for merchants in your country, not merely that the network appears globally. Providers commonly enable a network and a narrower set of tokens on it, and that gap is documented nowhere.
And whether settlement happens in Tether or converts. If you intend to hold, converting costs you a spread you did not want; if you intend to bank the money, settling in the token leaves a step this page does not cover.
Tron and Ethereum are not interchangeable#
Both carry substantial USDT merchant volume and they behave differently on cost and speed. Tron transfers are cheap and fast, which is why so much merchant volume sits there. Ethereum transfers cost more and settle into a much deeper ecosystem of everything else you might do with the funds.
A provider supporting one and not the other is not a partial answer; it is a different product for a different customer base. The network guide works through which of your customers can actually pay you on each.
Stablecoins often price differently from coins#
Several providers in this index charge a different rate on stablecoins and tokens than on coins, and the stablecoin rate is usually the higher one. B2BINPAY publishes this split explicitly: 0.40% on coins against 0.50% on stablecoins and tokens at the entry tier.
That matters because USDT is where most merchant volume actually lands. A headline rate quoted for coins is the wrong number for a business accepting mostly stablecoins, and it is worth asking for the split rather than the headline.
What accepting a stablecoin does and does not solve#
It removes price volatility between the sale and your decision to convert, which is the single largest operational annoyance of accepting crypto. A dollar-denominated balance behaves like money in a way that a coin balance does not.
It does not remove counterparty risk, either from the stablecoin issuer or from a custodial gateway holding the balance. The stablecoin entry covers the first, and the custody guide the second.
Getting the balance into bank currency#
A stablecoin balance is not a bank balance, and the step between them is where the cost and the friction live. Providers that document fiat settlement handle it for you at a spread they mostly do not publish; the rest leave it entirely with you.
The volatility and conversion guide covers both routes. The short version: ask for the conversion spread as a number before assuming the headline rate is what you pay.
Who on this list is actually built for stablecoins#
BVNK is the clearest case, a stablecoin-first provider settling same-day into more than thirty currencies, with an access threshold that excludes most merchants. Cryptomus and Speend both support the main stablecoin networks at low published entry rates and serve a much wider range of business sizes.
The rest of this list supports USDT alongside everything else, which is fine and means stablecoin handling is not the thing they optimised. For most merchants that is the right trade.
The reconciliation detail worth checking#
Whether the provider reports the amount received in the stablecoin or in your accounting currency, and at what rate. Those two figures diverge, and a finance function reconciling against the wrong one produces a discrepancy every month.
The accounting guide covers what to capture at the moment of sale so the reconciliation is possible at all. It is a small amount of work at integration time and a large amount afterwards.
One question decides most of this page#
Which network your customers actually send on. Tron and Ethereum behave differently on cost and speed, and a provider supporting one and not the other is a different product rather than a partial one.
The network guide works through who can pay you on each, which is a more useful filter than any rate on this page.
Record the rate at the moment of sale#
A stablecoin amount and your accounting-currency amount diverge, and a finance function reconciling against the wrong one produces a discrepancy every month.
The accounting guide covers what to capture so the reconciliation is possible at all. It is small work at integration time and large work afterwards.
Что отличает верх этого списка?
Speend получает 8.3, потому что published rate starts at 0.5% for same-currency settlement, among the lowest entry rates in this index. Слабое место — обратная сторона той же медали: conversion pricing is not published, and the 1% figure for automatic conversion comes from secondary reporting rather than from the provider's own page.
NOWPayments стоит на 8.0. The published asset list is the longest of any provider in this index, at 350+ currencies. Уступает он в том, что conversion and payout costs are not published, so the all-in figure cannot be computed from public pages.
