PayCek vs SpectroCoin
Two European processors settling into bank currency, neither of which lets you calculate what acceptance costs. PayCek states the merchant fee is zero and does not publish the spread behind it. SpectroCoin publishes a long consumer fee table with the merchant line missing entirely.

PayCek SpectroCoin
На этой странице
A stated zero and a missing line#
PayCek says account creation, maintenance and the transaction fee are all free to the merchant. SpectroCoin says nothing at all about what a merchant pays.
Those are different problems. A stated zero is a claim you can hold a provider to and then investigate; a blank is an appointment you have to make.
Neither, though, produces a number a merchant can put in a spreadsheet, which is why this pair sits together.
Where the money actually comes from#
Both convert into bank currency, and on one card the conversion happens the instant a payment is detected. The spread taken at that moment is the price, and neither provider publishes it.
That single unpublished figure is worth more than every fee either does print. It applies to all revenue and it never appears on an invoice.
Measure it the same way at both: send a fixed amount, compare what is credited against a public exchange rate for that minute, and the gap is your answer.
Fifty-nine counted against fifty and forty#
One publishes an exact count of fifty-nine cryptocurrencies. The other states forty or more in one place and fifty or more in another, on the same page, with neither figure qualified.
A card that cannot keep its own headline consistent is not a card to price a contract from, and that inconsistency is recorded here rather than smoothed over.
Both are broad by the standards of this index, so on coverage this is closer to a tie than the disclosure quality suggests.
Networks are named on one card and not the other#
Bitcoin, Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash, Litecoin, XRP, Solana and Dogecoin on one side. No network list at all on the other, only a count.
A count without chains cannot tell a merchant what a payment will cost their customer or how long it takes to confirm, and those are the two things a payer notices.
Ask for the enumerated token-and-network pairs from both. It is the only version of coverage that survives contact with a live account.
Payout mechanics favour each in turn#
One publishes an automatic IBAN withdrawal that fires once the balance passes a threshold the merchant sets between thirty and a thousand euros. That is a genuinely useful control for a small business.
The other publishes free bank withdrawals across dollars, euros, sterling and local currencies, with the rate fixed at the point of sale.
Between them that is most of a good settlement product, and no single card here has both halves.
A free till against no integration path at all#
A free web point of sale is documented on one card. The other names no ecommerce integrations and no point of sale on the pages we read.
Neither publishes a storefront plugin, so an online integration is an API project either way, and only one of the two hands a physical shop something usable out of the box.
For a counter operation that is the practical difference on this page and it is larger than the coverage comparison above it.
Corporate footing is the strongest column here#
A Croatian operator established in 2014 under European crypto-asset authorisation, against Spectro Finance OU with an Estonian company code plus entities in the British Virgin Islands and Panama.
Both name themselves, which most of this index does not. One is a single European operator; the other is a group with offshore arms it discloses rather than hides.
Establish which entity signs and which holds the balance in either case, because at a multi-entity group those are frequently different companies.
Product surface is thin on both#
Mass payouts, white label and recurring billing are unpublished on both cards. Invoicing and point of sale are documented on one and blank on the other.
Neither is competing for a platform's business. These are cards for a shop that wants euros in an account and nothing more elaborate.
Eleven of nineteen fields blank on one and five on the other is the sharpest difference between them, and disclosure is where the totals separate.
Verification goes unanswered on both#
Two European operators, both regulated or authorised in some form, and neither publishes what a merchant must submit before going live.
That is a failure across this category rather than a mark against either, and it is still the fastest way to lose two weeks.
Send the question first, with your vertical and expected volume attached. The answer arrives quicker than a rate does and it decides more.
Which one to shortlist#
A Croatian or regional shop with a counter takes the free till, the exact asset count and the threshold payout, and prices the spread on a live transaction before signing.
A merchant who needs settlement in sterling or dollars as well as euros has a reason to ask the other for a rate, and should treat it as a shortlist entry rather than a decision.
A merchant who needs a computable cost this week should look at the providers that publish one, because neither card here will supply it.
How to price two cards that publish no rate#
Send both the same request on the same day: the merchant processing rate, the conversion spread as a live quote, and the settlement schedule per currency. Identical questions produce the comparison the websites will not.
Take the spread as a measurement rather than a policy statement. A hundred euros through each, compared against a public exchange rate, is worth more than any figure quoted in a reply.
Whichever answers faster and more specifically is telling you something about how the relationship will run once money is moving.

Вопросы, которые задают мерчанты
Is PayCek free and SpectroCoin not?
PayCek states the merchant pays no transaction fee; SpectroCoin publishes no merchant rate at all. Neither publishes the conversion spread taken when payments become bank currency, so neither total is knowable from public pages.
Which settles in more currencies?
SpectroCoin, which states dollars, euros, sterling or a local currency with free bank withdrawals. PayCek settles in euros to an IBAN on a threshold the merchant sets between 30 and 1000 euros.
